Simon Pitt
Lives: Guildford, England
After leaving The Academy Of Contemporary Music, Simon studied Composition in Film and Television at Berklee College Of Music and went on to complete a Masters in Film and Television Composition at The University Of Bristol. Since leaving university Simon has co-composed the scores for BBC series (World's Sneakiest Animals, Animal Babies, Life In The Air and Animals Behaving Badly) alongside co-composer Will Hyde. They recently finished co-writing the score for the upcoming National Geographic documentary ‘Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory, set to be released on the 8th September 2022.
Simon composed the music for Ann Summers first ever cinema advert ‘Love, Lust and Everything In Between’. He is also a long-time contributor/composer for Hyde Music, producing Ad campaigns for established brands such as Dyson, Castrol Oil, Nike, Co-op, Bwin, and the creation of the sonic identity of Purina Pro Plan.
As well as writing music for broadcast and TV, Simon also releases music under his commercial artist alias Rokkr, receiving plays on BBC R2.
