Casey Lim

Lives: Surrey, England

Casey Lim is a British / Korean composer. Rooted in storytelling and lyricism, Casey’s strengths as a vocalist have enabled her to tour the UK with her previous band Princess Slayer and Internationally as an MC and singer for the Chilli Tribe Records collective.

Now as a solo artist, Oktae has released music and videos with a strong emphasis on visual expression to complement her identity as a curator of all things bass and beautiful. Recently the title track from her debut album ‘Cosmic Love’ earned her a place on BBC Radio 1’s Future Artists show with Arielle Free & Jack Saunders. Her collaborations with Drum & Bass producers such as Monika & Akuratyde, Venjent, pyxis and EMBA have gained attention in the global D&B scene, culminating in releases with heavyweight and underground labels alike: Shogun Audio, Soulvent Records, Spearhead Records, Four Corners Music, Fokuz Recordings, Blu Mar Ten Music.

Challenging her craft for diversity, Casey has performed the theme tune for ITV’s sitcom ‘Edge of Heaven’ starring Blake Harrison and Louisa Lytton, written bespoke music for martial arts brand Todays Taekwondo, ad campaigns for Birra Moretti and Virgin Media.

Under the alias Tiny Ninja, Casey Lim also performs as a DJ, furthering her multifaceted journey as a musical artist.
