Patrick Stratton
Lives: Chicago, IL, USA
Patrick Stratton is a Chicago based composer, producer, and DJ. After formal training in jazz and classical guitar in his early years, Patrick broke into the industry in 2011 through a series of popular bootlegs and a release on Skrillex's OWSLA Records. For 13 years, he produced dance music and toured North America as Stratus, where he was privileged enough to perform at iconic festivals and venues like Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, and Red Rocks Amphitheater. He has released music on many of dance music's most respected labels, including Ultra Records, Circus Records, and Subcarbon Records, receiving support from the likes of Excision, Ganja White Night, Liquid Stranger, Kayzo, Sullivan King, Boogie T, and Rusko.
These days, he produces a wide range of genres and styles for media, from all things dance to trailer cues. As a freelance composer, he has worked with brands and networks like Netflix, HBO, Paramount, Samsung, and Toyota, always striving to reinforce the heart of the story being told with expressive and powerful music, no matter the medium or the scale.
